Aristocats glamed up!

I loved this book, but the pages were water damaged. So I tore them out and thought I could use the cover for a project. Not really sure where, but I think I saw a repurposed Dr. Seuss book somewhere. I swirled and pearled the cover and added some coordinating flowers and crystals. Then took some chip board from cereal boxes and cut them to make the pages. A mixture of Basic Gray and Love Elsie paper and die cut embelishments from Fancy Pants, MME, and K&co jazz it up. Still need to ad some more emblishments to the last few pages, but I am definately going to do this again!!! I really love using repurposed items and making something beautiful out of something my husband told me "would you just throw this away, please!??". He just doesn't get it sometimes. lol

Hope you all had a wonderfully blessed day! Thanks for looking!!!

OMG, Cheri!! This is totally and completely fabulous, girl! I love anything altered and this is an awesome way to recycle an book that would otherwise become garbage--and you're totally right..sometimes they just don't get it, hehe! But your hubby sounds sweet and I forget to mention in my above comment on your other post that even though he picked those movies, I already saw Terminator and it was sooo awesommee!! So, I hope you enjoy it and have fun! And I'm in LOVE with your book!!!Each page so unique and fabulous! Very inspiring work, tfs!
