Shadow Boxes

It has been a while since my last post, I know. I am a little embarrassed to have neglected this little blog so. I have been very sick for a little over a month, in defense. But, it has been longer than that. And I have been busy with work, which is really not a very good excuse either. So I am here now to share with you a couple of shadow boxes that I got from Crafty Secrets. These were too stinkin' fun and a little addicting!! I also got some super fun and cute image cuts there that made this the perfect gift for the ladies in my life!
Aren't they just too sweet??? They turned out a little awesome if I do say so myself and it was admittedly pretty easy. So try this one out yourself! I'm going to have to try a few more techniques on the backgrounds, but all in all a great project! Promise to share more soon! Thanks for visiting and hope you enjoy it!
Hugs,
Cheri :)

Heritage layout and some roses!

I have been wanting to scrap this page for soooo long, but just couldn't decide on what paper and materials fit best. I had picked a few papers and I called Lauren in to help me decide. She thought this paper from K&co. Urban Rhapsody was the perfect fit, and I have to agree. I used so many different products on this that it almost made me dizzy! But, hey, that is what it's all about! I just love how it turned out!!! Thanks for looking! Blessings~Cheri

Wow! This has been a busy week! I have been running like crazy with field trips, school assemblies and birthday parties. I have been a little artistically (is that a word?) challenged as of late! Anyway, I had to grab my camera one morning and snap some pictures of my climbing rose that is on the side of my garage. I got it last year and it bloomed, but I failed to get any pictures. These roses are so fragrant and sweet. I just love 'em!!!

Treasure boxes

Yes, I am still alive. Sorry for the long gap between posts. I started a new job right before the Holidays and it has been a little hectic getting back into the swing of the whole routine/schedule thing. Anyway, here are a few projects I managed to create and give as gifts to family this year. I love the way the 'treasure boxes' turned out. It was so much fun and really quick to put together too!

Thank you all so much for visiting and commenting. It really means a lot. All the best to you and yours! God Bless! :)
